hospice in Italy but we want to hope, also in the light of regional law that in several parts of the nation, let think
that something moves in order to create structures, in public and also in private sector, inside of hospitals and in
separated places, that can offer answers to the dramatic needs of people life limiting illness and their families, in
order to construct a true network of services integrated between them that it does not leave empty spaces in the
difficult way of the last time of the life.
nly in this way every
suffering person for an incurable disease will be able to feel less alone, will be able to give some sense for its
existential life that seems to end, will be able after all to hope of living.
f we want to risk a definition,
we can say that if in the last few decades we talk about "quality of the life" as sense of economic or
social reference, now we have to think also to the quality of the dead in order to determine the evolution of a
society and its culture.
