Un Introduction

he aim of the Domus Salutis Studies and Documentation Centre is to offer an updated documentation to each one is interested in people with life limiting illnesses in the advanced phase of the disease using monographs, periodicals and Internet resources giving emphasize to the medical, psicologycal, spiritual, social and uman aspects of the illness.

   he documentation here collected, has the aim to go deeper in some aspects connected to bioethics, palliative care, suffering and tanatologia, offering a complete and authoritative summary of the situation and the studies in Italy and in the rest of the world.

   he mission of the Studies and Documentation Centre is to maintain a wide and updated thematic coverage of arguments, following o philosophy of constant development of the own collection documentary by means of frequent and selected acquisitions near Italian and foreign suppliers

   his first edition of the "Monographs and periodicals catalogue" realized by Dott. Gianmaria Porrini, is one of the instruments to disposition to users to study and reach the indicated objectives.

   his catalogue is the first of a long series of publications, like like indices for matters, thematic bibliographies and bulletins, that will be realized in order to provide users an easy and express guideline of the documents owned by the Documentation Center or achievables by remote connections.
